Limited Edition Machine Embroideries
These renderings are excerpts from my sketch book. They were birthed as a response to my need to make pieces that were more immediate and playful. I draw on paper then recreate my marks digitally for the embroidery machine. Once embroidered, I slice, cut, sew and add other materials to complete the piece. Inspired by printmaking traditions, they are made as limited editions and can be re-created in different colour schemes. They are unselfconscious, small in size, affordable and made to order.
